Hawkers Asian Street Fare To Make Atlanta Debut This November

The menu includes Korean twice fried chicken, roti, ramen, and durian crème brûlée.

The Florida restaurant chain Hawkers Asian Street Fare is opening in November at Studioplex in the Old Fourth Ward. The menu is based on dishes often found at “hawkers” or Asian street food stalls.

The 4500-square-foot restaurant includes a Beltline-facing patio with retractable doors and a large indoor/outdoor bar. The design will incorporate salvaged architectural items from around Atlanta and murals by local street artists throughout the restaurant. …”

Cocktail Bar and Cafe The James Room Channeling France and London

The James Room plans to be open all day for coffee, cocktails, lunch, dinner, and lounging.

Missy and Kristin Koefod have released the renderings of their upcoming restaurant and cocktail bar The James Room. The couple, who also own the cocktail bitters and shrubs shop 18.21 Bitters in Ponce City Market, plan to open this spring at SPX Alley [at Columbia Ventures’ Studioplex mixed-used development] along the Eastside Beltline trail in the Old Fourth Ward. …”

The Retail Portion of Studioplex’s Second Phase Has Been Named ‘SPX Alley’

At least nine confirmed concepts will be situated in SPX Alley, the ground floor of The Residences at Studioplex. Studioplex’s under-construction Phase II has been named SPX Alley.

Columbia Ventures is developing the 32,000-square-foot retail center at the 9-acre Studioplex mixed-use on Auburn Avenue in Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward neighborhood.

SPX Alley sits on the ground-level of Thrive Homes’ forthcoming The Residences at Studioplex townhome community and will open spring 2018. …”
