Columbia Ventures has partnered with Studioplex, LLC the owner of a 9-acre mixed- use project on Auburn Avenue in Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward neighborhood, to activate the final phases of the project. Underway at present, the joint venture expects to complete a 380 space parking deck in November 2016, which will allow the eastern BeltLine frontage of the property to be developed. The next phase will include 32,000 square feet of retail, restaurant and office space adjacent to a 141 key boutique hotel (by others) at the front of the property. The building will be constructed with nineteen townhouse pads on its roof, and will be the first purpose built retail development on the Eastside Trail of the BeltLine. Future phases are anticipated to include another small townhouse site and a mid-rise building on the BeltLine, featuring residential condominiums over office.
