Decatur's premier transit oriented development finishes in Q3 2025 with select service hotel.

Decatur East is one of the leading transit oriented developments in the current generation of MARTA station activations. In partnership with the transit authority and the Decatur Development Authority, Columbia Ventures served as master developer for this 7.7 acre tract at the south parking lot at the Avondale Station. The first phase was completed in 2019 and provides infrastructure, including the installation of an 860 space central parking deck facility for use by the entire project; roadways and utilities, including connecting the PATH Foundation’s East Decatur Greenway line into the station and across to connect with the Stone Mountain and Downtown Atlanta trails; 378 class A market rate apartments; 92 senior affordable apartments and 22,000 sf of commercial space. Future phases include an additional 80 senior affordable apartments and a select service hotel. The entire master plan is expected to be fully completed by the end of 2025.
